Job Description
Insight Global is seeking to hire ESL Teachers for one of our clients in Sacramento, CA.
Under the guidance of the Principal, English Language Development (ELD)/International High School (IHS) Teachers play a critical role in supporting non-native English speakers as they develop their language skills.
This is a fulltime opportunity working in a hybrid setting in Sacramento, CA. The approved salary is $70,000 - $100,000.
These educators create comprehensive lesson plans designed to improve students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension of English while also fostering an understanding of grammar, pronunciation, and conversational proficiency.
Serving an expanding community of global newcomers, ELD / IHS teachers are responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and assessing classroom instructional programs. They teach adult English learners not only the fundamentals of the language but also basic math, science, history, and, where applicable, American Government and civics. Their instruction may extend to career development and parenting skills, ensuring learners receive well-rounded educational support.
