A Brief Overview The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a NP/PA as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws:
What you will do \n

This is s full-time, day shift position; Monday through Friday, with 4 days of clinic and 1 day for admin. We are seeking candidates with Oncology experience; we will consider new grads with RN Oncology experience.

Qualifications
Education Qualifications
\n
· (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing, or
\n
· Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program
\n
Experience Qualifications
\n
· 1+ years as a NP or PA Preferred
\n
Skills and Abilities
\n
\n - Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency)
\n - Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency)
\n - Must have computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)
\n - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications
\n
\n - Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio, and
\n - Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio, or
\n - Current Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Ohio
\n - Basic Life Support (BLS) Required and
\n - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred

\n - Ability to supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals and/or students in area of expertise. (Required proficiency)
\n - Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage. (Required proficiency)
\n - Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops. (Required proficiency)
\n - Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise. (Required proficiency)
\n - Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. (Required proficiency)
\n - Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements. (Required proficiency)
\n - Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress. (Required proficiency)
