Job Description:
Seeking an Azure Security Consultant to join a cloud security architecture team and enhance the security posture of cloud-hosted environments through technical consulting, security assessments, and implementation of Azure-native controls.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Consult on Azure resources security (Key Vaults, App Services, WAF, etc.)
Develop BICEP templates embedding security controls in CI/CD workflows
Perform cloud security assessments including container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
Implement and manage CNAPP solutions (e.g., Wiz, Orca, Prisma Cloud)
Secure IAM across on-prem and cloud AD, Azure AD, SSO, Okta
Monitor/respond to incidents using SIEM/SOAR tools and Azure-native monitoring
Document and communicate technical findings to various audiences
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
Bachelor's in Computer Science or IT (ideal)
Strong documentation and communication skills
Strategic problem-solving and long-term technical planning
Experience with threat modeling tools (e.g., Irius, Cairis, Kenna, Microsoft)
Azure Security Certifications
Nice-to-Haves:
CNAPP solution experience (Wiz, Orca, Prisma Cloud)
Familiarity with Azure-native monitoring and incident response tools
Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (BICEP)
