We currently have an opening for Billing Specialists - Full Time - Alliance Healthcare Billing (This is a Remote Position). Day shift and Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for medical billing and payment posting.
- Patient demographic entry.
- Ensure coding including diagnosis and CPT codes are accurate at the time of billing.
- Verify and reconcile all copays, co-insurances, and deductibles daily.
- Research and resolve any missing charges or data with Imaging Center Managers.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts with insurance carriers and patients.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-year experience as a medical biller and collector in an Imaging/Radiology practice.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CPC Coder Certification preferred.
- Medisoft and Imagine billing software is a plus.
- Imaging billing experience is a plus.
- Meet daily production goals.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Working knowledge of Imaging/Radiology billing practice, CPT codes, and ICD10s.
- Strong knowledge of payer guidelines and reimbursement policies.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- Medical Billing Imaging/Radiology Specialist: 4 years.
- ICD-10 and CPT Coding: 4 years (Required).
- Medical Billing Imaging: 4 years (Required).
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred).
