Title :  Business System Analyst

Location:  Remote

Duration: 12 Months+

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with Product Owners to understand Product Vision, needs and priority of initiatives
• Reviews/Analyzes features
• Writes high level user stories (as an x, I want to y, so that I can z) to review with ES Architect and ES Product Owner
• Schedules & Facilitates sessions as needed with PO, EO, Product EM to review high level user story for completeness and accuracy
• Captures addition stories that may be needed
• Requests channels to share information with ES, such as wireframes, mockups, channel requirements for ES
• Communicate to downstream consumers for impacted and regression testing due to service changes / follow’s up once impacted services are moved to INT and/or QA environments
• Maintain the product backlog on the teams Story Card board, organize, prioritize, using proper templates and tagging
• Refine Product Backlog with ES Architect and ES Scrum Team (stakeholders if necessary)
• Further defines the requirement into a well written solution
• Defines acceptance criteria
• Reviews the card for completeness and accuracy
• Point Card – size effort
• Understands and be able to speak to the initiative, provide status at any given time to the Product Owner or Internal SOA Team Members (SOA BOW meeting)
• Update SOA BOW status weekly with key message and Story/Points completed, in flight and planned
• Act with appropriate sense of urgency in communications and escalations
• Strong communication skills to act as the liaison between the technical and the LOB
• Attend BSA team meetings, be an active participant by providing input on processes and mentoring/helping others on the team as needed
• Work with ES architect(s) as needed to understand ES application processes, functional, downstream and upstream behavior, dependencies and impacts
• Have strong analytical skills to be able to relate various aspects of the product
• Ability to understand data and queries
• Have technical knowledge to quickly grasp technical requirements and ability to convert them to User Stories that provide technical framework solutions
• Understand the banking financial transactions from vendor payment interfaces, posting debit/credit
