Job Description
Drivers: Must have clean MVR, possess current DOT physical examination paperwork, pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check, and either have or can obtain a class E license prior to beginning work.
Personnel must be able to perform regular lifting of materials, and appliances in a team lift manner. 100lbs+ on different occasions throughout the day, utilizing shoulder dollies as a main form of product transport into and outside of customer homes.
Ideally, both team members will possess basic working mechanical knowledge, and be familiar with both standard and metric hand tools. Being capable of properly and safely installing electric and natural gas ranges, and dryers is also required.
We also install washing machines and stackable units, as well as refrigerators. Some refrigerators require minor disassembly in order to get them into place in the customer’s home. All deliveries are tracked through a cellphone application, which teams will be trained on how to navigate and close out prior to running independently.
Monthly bonuses available for scores of "10" on surveys through positive customer feedback.
Typical workdays are 8 hours or sometimes less, however, there are times when overtime will be required due to drive time on routes with higher mileage. Typically, routes range from a low of 50 miles, to a high of about 340 miles, depending on the location and stop count.
Teams are required to carry their own tools and straps on the truck and will be initially hired on as 1099. After a 90-day probationary period, teams will be evaluated on performance, completion rate, and on-time percentages. Direct-hire process will begin after 90 days worked.
