To support our expanding digital efforts, we are looking for a Digital Marketing Operations Specialist who will be instrumental in optimizing our marketing performance. This role will oversee the management of digital campaigns, ensure seamless marketing operations, and contribute to enhancing our online presence, ultimately strengthening our firm's mission to provide outstanding service to our clients.
What You'll Do: - Drive Revenue: Utilize marketing data analytics to identify opportunities for increasing revenue. Implement strategic marketing efforts to optimize key metrics that drive revenue such as number of leads, lead conversion rates, overall case quality, etc.
- Develop and Monitor KPIs: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of marketing initiatives, focusing on metrics such as cost per lead, lead source effectiveness, and overall return on investment (ROI).
- Analyze Marketing Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data to understand performance trends. Evaluate metrics from Google pay-per-click, Google Local Service, and Google Display campaigns, etc., as well as assess the performance of marketing campaigns managed by different vendors.
- Data-Driven Strategy Development: Develop and execute marketing strategies informed by data-driven insights. Tailor campaigns to effectively target specific demographics, enhance client acquisition, and boost engagement. Continuously analyze the performance of various strategies, identifying which approaches are successful and which are not. Promptly pivot and refine strategies based on performance metrics to ensure time, budget, and efforts are optimally allocated to achieve the highest return on investment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure prompt and seamless implementation of all marketing initiatives across data collection, analysis, strategy development, and implementation. Foster a collaborative environment to drive cohesive and effective efforts.
- Vendor Collaboration: Partner with external marketing vendors to coordinate campaigns and projects. Regularly meet with vendors to monitor metrics, conduct strategy sessions to develop recommendations based on these metrics, and ensure that the recommendations are effectively implemented.
- Lead Follow-Up Cadence: Create and maintain a structured process for following up with leads. Ensure timely and consistent communication to maximize lead conversion rates.
- Drip Marketing: Design and manage email marketing drip campaigns. Segment email lists and tailor content to nurture leads and keep clients engaged.
- Platform Assessment: Evaluate the firm's current marketing platforms to ensure they effectively track and analyze key metrics. Recommend and implement new platforms if necessary to enhance data collection and reporting capabilities.
- Content Drafting: Occasionally, as needed, draft content for online postings such as blog posts or social media captions. Ensure that all content is aligned with the firm's branding and marketing strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging and relevant content that resonates with our target audience and supports overall marketing goals.
What We're Looking For: - Experience: Extensive background in digital marketing operations, showcasing a proven track record in data analytics and strategic development. Demonstrated ability to analyze marketing data and make informed recommendations on content strategy and marketing initiatives to maximize reach and drive revenue growth. Experience within the legal industry is highly advantageous.
- Marketing Strategies Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various marketing strategies and campaigns, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, Local Services Ads (LSA), Google Ads (proven experience required), brand awareness campaigns, drip marketing campaigns, etc. Sufficient understanding of language and metrics related to these strategies is a must in order to effectively develop and optimize marketing initiatives.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in utilizing Google Workspace tools, including Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Meet, Google Drive, etc. Familiarity with Clio Grow and Clio Manage for legal practice management is highly advantageous (however, this is not required - just note, this is our CRM tool).
- Collaboration and Project Management: Strong ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, ensuring smooth coordination across departments. Proven project management skills to oversee marketing initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Vendor Management: Experience in working with external marketing vendors to coordinate and execute campaigns. Ability to monitor vendor performance, conduct strategy sessions, analyze metrics, and implement recommendations based on data-driven insights.
- Content Creation: Experience in drafting compelling content for various platforms, including blog posts and social media captions. Ability to produce content that aligns with the firm's branding and engages the target audience effectively.
- Excel Proficiency: General skills in data analysis and manipulation using Excel. Experience in creating formulas and functions like XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, and conditional formatting. Experience or willingness to learn Power Query for data transformation and integration from multiple sources.
- Data Visualization: Basic experience working with datasets, building interactive dashboards, and data visualization tools.
- Spreadsheet Formula Expertise: Skilled in spreadsheet formula particularly the XLOOKUP function for vertical and horizontal lookups. Ability to perform partial and wildcard matches using XLOOKUP.
- Familiarity with advanced Excel features: Power Pivot, Power BI, and statistical/financial modeling.
- Performance Max Campaign Manager: Proven proficiency managing successful Google Ads Performance Max campaigns. Deep understanding of Performance Max campaign structure, audience signals, and optimization levers. Expertise with Google Ads interfaces, reporting tools, and automated bidding strategies. Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and drive insights. Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Google Ads certifications are a plus.
