Role Description: In the role of EDI OperationsCoordinator, you will be part of EDI Operations Team. You will work closely with EDI Intake Team and Claims Department. Your contributions of partnering with assigned business units and helps to provide accurate data to support the best possible business decisions will be felt throughout Safety National.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as an EDI Operations Coordinator will include:
- Retrieve loss information received and determine if timely and
- If necessary, request current/complete information from our Third Party Administrators (TPA) and follow up for receipt.
- Analyze loss information and manually post aggregate totals to the Scorecard
- Identify specific excess large losses or those that meet "Prompt Reporting of Claims" section in our policy form.
- Prepare requests to the TPA for claim reports where
- Reconcile and validate TPA changes for losses on Excess Workers Compensation
- Validate pending Scorecard transactions generated through automated Loss Run Submission
- Research and reconcile drops in total paid, claims removed, and address any
- Work closely with EDI analysts for reconciliations if needed
Qualifications: Education: - A Bachelor's degree is preferred
Required Qualifications: - Position requires an individual who is dependable, detail oriented, analytical, organized, and self-motivated with excellent technical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Advanced in the use of Windows Excel, Word and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Participates in and promotes a team environment with the department and the company.

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target salary range for this position is $49,000 to $76,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
