Law firm focused on estate administration matters, probate, trust administration, and preparing and filing federal estate tax returns. We assist many business clients as well, from incorporating businesses, drafting partnership agreements, creating Limited Liability Companies, family limited partnerships, buy/sell agreements, purchase or sale of businesses, real estate contracts and other transactional matters.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in trust litigation, including will contests, trust disputes and fiduciary litigation.
• Manage estate administration matters, such as probate proceedings, trust administrations and conservatorships.
• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance directives.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients on estate planning, tax implications and business succession.
• Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs and represent clients in court or mediation as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver exceptional client service and achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 3+ years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, and/or estate litigation.
• Strong understanding of probate, trust administrations and conservatorships.
• Proven litigation experience, including drafting and courtroom advocacy.
