RigUp is seeking an Project Estimator for long term position that is fully remote (multiple years of work)

Job Duties

• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for Pipelines and gathering systems, Well connects, Gas compression stations, Amine and dehydration facilities
• Collaborate with engineering managers and project teams to gather scope, design, and execution details for accurate estimating
• Build and refine estimating tools in Microsoft Excel
• Populate and maintain estimating databases in SharePoint , ensuring version control and data integrity
• Analyze historical cost data and vendor pricing to improve estimate accuracy
• Support the implementation of standardized estimating practices across gas and crude oil projects
• Assist in bid evaluations and contractor cost reviews
• Provide cost input for project feasibility studies and capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required
• 3–7 years of experience in estimating for oil and gas infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of midstream construction practices and cost drivers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros)
• Experience with SharePoint or similar document/data management platforms
• Familiarity with pipeline and facility design, construction sequencing, and materials
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Estimating for both gas and crude oil projects
• Exposure to amine and dehydration systems
• Knowledge of regional cost variations in Texas, Oklahoma, and North Dakota
• Experience with third-party workforce providers or contractor pricing models
