Job Title: Flooring Estimator - Commercial Projects
A leading provider of flooring solutions specializing in commercial projects is seeking a skilled Estimator to add to their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the bidding process for commercial Flooring Estimator projects, accurately estimating costs and providing comprehensive proposals to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct on-site visits and assessments to determine Flooring Estimator requirements for commercial projects, including LVT, VCT, ceramic tile, carpet, and other popular flooring types.
* Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate material and labor estimates as a Flooring Estimator.
* Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids as a Flooring Estimator.
* Analyze project scope and identify potential risks and opportunities as a Flooring Estimator for various flooring types.
* Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals within specified deadlines as a Flooring Estimator specializing in LVT, VCT, ceramic tile, carpet, and other commercial flooring materials.
* Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, pricing, and materials to ensure competitiveness as a Flooring Estimator specializing in diverse flooring types.
* Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to clarify project requirements and resolve inquiries related to LVT, VCT, ceramic tile, carpet, and other popular flooring options.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator, preferably in commercial constructio
* Strong understanding of Flooring Estimator materials, installation methods, and industry standards, including LVT, VCT, ceramic tile, carpet, and other relevant flooring types.
* Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents as a Flooring Estimator specializing in various flooring types.
* Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
