If you thrive in a collaborative environment working with a small team that makes magic happen, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! This team is responsible for a variety of on-going maintenance and new build efforts for websites and data integrations.

Note - this position is fully remote, but required to be within close driving distance of either Kansas City or Chattanooga, TN.

Responsibilities:

• Implement a design into efficient, maintainable code
• Test (unit and integration testing, regression testing, compliance testing)
• Monitor error logs, perform Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, remediation proposal & execution
• Maintain best practices (data, development, SEO, ADA Compliance)
• Perform security audits & remediation
• Participate in collaborative solutioning

Requirements:

• Work well independently in a collaborative environment
• Motivated learner who keeps up on current industry tools and trends
• Experience with ecommerce or marketing
• Experience with mobile app development/maintenance using .NET Android/.Net IOS (formerly known as Xamarin)
• Content Management System experience

Experience with the following programming languages/frameworks:

• HTML
• CSS
• Object Oriented Programming
• .NET (Framework & Core) --> ASP.NET (Razor, MVC), C# Language, Data Access Frameworks (Entity Framework Core, PetaPoco, ADO.NET)
• Working knowledge around building and consuming APIs from .NET (RESTful APIs, SOAP services)
• Javascript (JQuery, AJAX, Knockout, Angular, Vue or React)
• Bootstrap
• JSON
• Powershell and Batch scripting
• PHP (Wordpress)

Database knowledge:

• Experience with database and table creation, maintenance, normalization, optimization, indexing, security, stored procedures, SQL queries, etc.
• Microsoft SQL Server
• MySQL

Experience using the below tools:

• Visual Studio 2022
• Postman
• SQL Server Management Studio
• Microsoft Tools
• WinSCP, FileZilla (FTP, SFTP)

Bonus experience:

• Code Source Repo Setup and management (TFS -Azure DevOps)
• Server Knowledge --> Windows Server 2019 (Windows Firewall, Windows task scheduler, Windows event viewer for troubleshooting, User administration, SMTP), Plesk (used primarily for domain and FTP administration), Domain and DNS administration, WinAcme (for setting up and renewing SSL certificates), Cloudflare
• Orkestra Composite C1 (.NET)
• Umbraco (.NET)
• WordPress (PHP)
• Product data management
