GTM Finance Director (Palo Alto, CA)

Birdeye is looking for a driven finance professional to play a key role in reporting and planning activities in addition to providing key analytics in support of the sales and post- sales organizations. The role will be responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and communicating financial and operational data to drive key business decisions and efficiency in growing the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Support the GTM (Go-to-Market) functions with financials and key business metrics, including sales efficiency and productivity, marketing return-on-spend, pricing and discounting sales pipeline, headcount ratios
• Perform actual vs. budget variance analysis and identify any risks or opportunities associated with reported financial data; provide monthly expense, revenue, and headcount forecasts
• Manage the annual financial and operational budget and the quarterly and monthly financial forecasts for the GTM organizations
• Design and deliver robust and scalable GTM reporting methodology where you can quickly synthesize information, structure a concise, clear presentation of findings to an executive audience
• Develop and maintain financial models to track and analyze investment priorities and evaluate potential alternatives and their impact on the company's overall performance

requirements

• Understanding of GTM function with proven experience in supporting Sales,
• Marketing, and Customer Success teams
• Ability to think critically & strategically (see big picture) while also be hands-on with the day-to-day operations
• Strong communication to the executives team, to the GTM leaders, and to the internal finance team and outstanding ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally and at multiple levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; superior attention to detail
• Experience operating in a B2B SaaS business model
• Experience operating a FPA Software, such as Adaptive (preferred)
