About the Role

The Company is in need of an Interim Executive Director to provide strategic and tactical leadership in managing its day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including financial management and planning, program management, donor development, and relations, oversight of communication channels, and HR management for a staff team of 12 with 6 direct reports. The role also involves working with the Board to develop a long-term strategy that ensures the organization's growth and sustainability, as well as creating management reports for Board meetings and providing regular updates to the Board Chair and Executive. This interim position is pivotal in maintaining the operational and strategic functions of the organization during a transitional period. The ideal Interim Executive Director will have a minimum of 6 months commitment, with the possibility of extension, and be available for 2-3 days per week, with a flexible schedule. The focus of the interim mandate is on operations, strategy, and governance, and the role requires a candidate with a strong background in these areas. The Interim Executive Director will be expected to work closely with the Board, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet the organization's goals.
