Investment Banking Analyst - TMT

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

• Provides support to senior bankers.

• Develop client presentation materials, including all background research, analysis, and drafting.

• Familiarity with financial models and other financial analysis.

• Performing detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analysis.

• Assist senior bankers on client coverage initiatives.

• Support product partners and monitor entire execution process for transactions ensuring timely execution to meet client expectations.

• Work closely and help train analysts.

• Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or work experience, in Finance, Business, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• Related experience in Financial Services Industry, 1-2 years.

• TMT Investment Banking experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of corporate finance and banking products.

• Solid financial modeling skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams.

• Team player and self-starter.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $110,000-$135,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
