We are seeking an Junior Interior Designer with at least 2 years experience in High End Hospitality to become a part of our team! You will plan, design and furnish the interiors of High End Hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Senior/ Intermediate Designer & Management in project endeavors for all design phases (Concept, SD, DD, CD, Finishes, Specs, CA)

• Responsible for attending project-specific meetings and accurately recording meeting minutes.

• Coordinate the acquisition of samples from vendors for both projects and the studio. Actively foster and maintain robust relationships with clients, vendors, and consultants. Must possess the ability to initiate problem-solving effectively.

• Assist in coordinating with external project consultants, including lighting, MEP, Structural, Signage, and kitchen consultants, as needed to ensure a well-coordinated project. Take responsibility for producing meeting minutes, following through on tasks, and supporting the team.

• Support the Senior Designer and management team in organizing project meetings

• Responsible for assisting the Senior Designer and management team with the coordination and organization of project meetings.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of previous experience in Hospitality Interior Design
• Legally entitled to work in Canada - holding Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Resident status or a valid work permit
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent
• Must provide resume and portfolio to be considered
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with internal colleagues, and external clients, consultants, and suppliers
• Demonstrate exceptional design, time, and priority management by leveraging advanced skills in scheduling and resource management, while implementing proactive measures whenever possible
• Strong comprehension of FF capable of working with in-house FF&E specialists
• Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCad, Sketchup, and other design software
• Possess the capability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting and must exhibit meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, essential for excelling under tight deadlines.
