A leading healthcare organization on the Texas Gulf Coast is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN Manager to oversee operations of a busy, high-acuity L&D unit. This role supports a dynamic maternal care environment and is ideal for a nurse leader committed to safe, compassionate, and evidence-based maternity care.
Manage daily operations for a 19-bed Labor unit , 5-bed OBED , and 3 surgical suites .
Oversee up to 80 FTEs , ensuring staffing effectiveness, clinical quality, and patient safety.
Provide support to postpartum and antepartum areas during on-call weeks.
Partner with the Director to implement improvement strategies and maintain regulatory compliance.
Monitor clinical outcomes, quality metrics, and operational performance.
Foster a professional practice environment rooted in teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
1+ year of recent acute-care Labor & Delivery leadership experience.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma.
Active Texas RN license (or Compact license with Texas endorsement within 60 days).
Current BLS certification (AHA).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
