The Job/What You'll Do:

The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for the thoughtful design and production of comprehensive marketing and communications content aligned with the overall goals of Solari Crisis & Human Services. Under the leadership of the Manager, Communications, the Marketing and Communications Specialist maintains consistent messaging and branding within internal marketing and communications channels, In addition, they will also support Solari's overall marketing and communications efforts which include internal and external strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Designs and deploys creative marketing strategies aligned with Solari's growth plans, ensuring brand consistency across all internal marketing channels.
• Supports production of engaging content including but not limited to live events, brochures, digital and print advertisements, etc.
• Supports internal marketing channels with strong emphasis on engagement strategies.
• Supports establishment and maintenance of Solari's thought leadership presence and reputation.
• Provides internal marketing-related support to all departments as appropriate.
• Measures and reports performance of engagement campaigns to assess performance against goals.
• Conducts market research on industry trends, brand awareness, new opportunities, and internal engagement strategies.
• Supports the upkeep of marketing templates, brand essentials, team manual, and best practices.
• Curates content, executes design, production, and distribution of electronic communications within the intranet (Solari Central), websites, and social media platforms.
• Drafts internal communications and external copy for flyers, social media, marketing campaigns, etc.
• Maintains current professional level of knowledge of Solari's services, experience, and related technologies to communicate effectively with target audiences.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in field, Preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field required.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to noise typical with office operations. Ability to hear and speak. Employees must maintain a stable and secure private home internet with a minimum of 50Mbps download and 5Mbps upload, and an average jitter less than 20% of latency.
