Job Description

Vaco, in partnership with a reputable company, is seeking an AR Follow-Up Representative to join their team. The position will start onsite, with the possibility of transitioning to remote work after 6 months based on performance.

Compensation: $18-21 hourly, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

1. Require Epic and AR Follow-Up experience.
2. Read, interpret, and follow up on EOB denials, understanding medical terminology.
3. Possess working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding.
4. Monitor and manage work queues effectively.
5. Research, file, and follow up on claims appeals with payors.
6. Resolve claim denials or rejections based on assignments.
7. Identify denial trends and system knowledge related to work queues and resolution of unpostables and payment batches.
8. Follow up on patient account inquiries via calls or emails.
9. Coordinate with clinical contacts for additional information or corrections.
10. Update charges and refile claims electronically or on paper.
11. Meet productivity and quality standards as set by management.
12. Communicate with management regarding correspondence and communication issues.
13. Maintain positive working relationships within a team environment.
