Job Description

A leading healthcare organization in New York City is seeking a skilled Medical Informatics Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex IT and informatics projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage expertise in health informatics and project management to enhance clinical workflows and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
The Medical Informatics Project Manager will be responsible for:

Leading and managing complex projects related to electronic health records (EHR), health data, and IT systems
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet organizational goals
Mentoring and managing a team of informatics and IT professionals to foster a collaborative and innovative environment
Overseeing accurate and secure health data management to support healthcare providers in decision-making
Driving change initiatives to optimize clinical workflows and improve patient outcomes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, IT, or a related field
Proven experience in project management within healthcare settings
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and application development
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday, Asana, Microsoft Project)
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills

Desired Skills:

Master's degree
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, CPHIMS)
