A career in our Merger and Acquisition Tax practice within Tax services offers an opportunity to assist clients in managing their tax obligations across various specialties. You will advise on local and international tax matters, act as a strategic consultant on business analysis, indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. Our team supports clients in merger and acquisition transactions, including restructuring, divestiture, partnerships, and insolvency. Your focus will be on helping clients establish treasury goals, analyze and quantify tax assets, assess tax risks, and model the impacts on taxable income and cash flow.

As a Senior Manager, you will work in a team to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:

The Opportunity:

Join the Federal M&A team to manage financial analyses related to M&A practices, including corporate M&A, private equity, post-deal integration, bankruptcy, and insolvency. Lead large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while engaging with senior clients. You will build trust with diverse teams, motivate and coach your team to solve complex challenges, and represent PwC in community organizations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high operational standards.
  • Engaging with senior-level clients to ensure project success.
  • Fostering trust with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Mentoring teams to solve complex problems.
  • Representing PwC in community organizations.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • CPA, Bar membership, or other relevant credentials in tax, technology, or finance.
  • A JD, LLM, or Master's in Accounting or Taxation may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate preferred.
  • Experience managing financial analyses for M&A.
  • Expertise in tax consulting, corporate restructuring, due diligence, legislative interpretation, financial modeling, and U.S. federal income tax law.
  • Strong client relationship skills, leadership, and proficiency with digitization tools.
