MIG Pulse Welder

Job Description

Seeking an experienced MIG Pulse Welder with expertise in welding aluminum materials from gauge to 1 inch thickness. This role is critical for our aerospace projects, focusing on the fabrication of filters, brackets, and various types of cradles.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG Pulse welding on aluminum materials ranging from gauge to 1 inch in thickness.
• Fabricate and assemble components for aerospace applications, including filters, brackets, and cradles.
• Ensure high-quality welds that meet industry standards and specifications.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MIG Pulse welding.
• Proficiency in welding aluminum materials.
• Ability to start work at 6:00 AM and work overtime as needed.
• Must provide own welding hood.
• Experience in the aerospace industry is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Able to use basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tape.
• Experience with machining, calipers, lathe, and inspection.
• ITAR compliance required.
• 4-panel oral tox screening required.

Work Environment

Manufacturing - Machine Shop. First shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with potential for overtime. Ensure to maintain a clean and organized work area, and bring your own welding hood.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tustin, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
