Overview:

SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business and has consistently been voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work. We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team on-site at NAVAIR Patuxent River, MD to provide Systems Administrator support to PMA-231 

Clearance:

A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements:

• DoD Clearance Eligibility (United States Citizenship Required)
• At least 7 years of experience performing system administration in a Linux environment
• COMPTIA Security + or other DOD INST 8570 compliant qualification required

Responsibilities:

Provide deployment and configuration support for: VMWare/vSphere Enterprise, Cisco switches, SAN, Win Server, Networking, and Linux

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

At least 2 years of Network engineering experience

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required Compensation:

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
