Fiber Stream Company Seeks Tier 2 Technical Support Agent

Fiber Stream is a Phoenix-based National Internet Service Provider (ISP) and MSP. With service locations in Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and North Carolina. We offer bulk Internet, Property-Wide WiFi, and Fiber solutions for MDUs, apartments, municipalities, HOA's, and businesses Nationwide. We are well-positioned to grow significantly in 2023 and beyond.

Job Description

We are looking for a Tier 2 Technical Support Agent. The agent would be responsible for tech support at the Tier 2 level, onsite support, minor repairs, maintenance, install support, site launches, and various other tech and customer-facing tasks. Growth opportunities for various engineering positions are available. College graduates with a degree in Computer Science or similar are ideal and welcome to apply. Ideally, someone with an understanding of networking, WiFI, the Internet, and all things internet (IoT).

Responsibilities

• TEXT, Email, and partial phone support.
• Troubleshoot and debug end users' devices/issues.
• Onsite support - One-to-one, leasing staff fractional IT services 
• Launch parties and other customer and tech-related tasks
• Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems from time to time.

Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• TEXT at high speeds
• Fluent in English verbally and in written form (Spanish would be a big bonus)
• Ability to multitask multiple support conversations over several communication platforms
• Understanding of the Internet and devices (IoT)
• Experience with customer relations or good with people
• Ability to manage people's frustrations and upsets
• Excellent knowledge of phones, laptops, and computing devices
• Understand local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data networks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year and beyond.

Schedule:

• Hours/days Flexible - Negotiable - 5 days at around 40 to 45 hours a week.
