Occupational Therapist - Hands at Providence Non-RN - Oregon summary:

The Occupational Therapist at Providence Medford Medical Center manages and provides skilled therapy to patients with diverse diagnoses, focusing on individual needs for maximum independence. Utilizes expertise in patient evaluation and treatment to support recovery and enhance functional abilities. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team for holistic patient care.

Description

$5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Manages and provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or Ph.D. from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program or equivalent education/experience.
  • Ph.D. From an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet a particular department need, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Oregon Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
