Job Title: Onsite Apartment Complex Manager

Location: San Jose, California

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the apartment complex.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Address resident needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
• Collect rent and deposits from residents in a timely manner.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Conduct thorough bookkeeping to track financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Enforce community rules and regulations with fairness and consistency.
• Foster a positive and welcoming community atmosphere.
• Work with multiple vendors to manage quotes and estimates for maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in apartment or property management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Appfolio property management software and full Google Suite is preferred.
• Willingness to live on-site within the apartment complex.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well with diverse residents.
• Reliable and able to handle responsibilities independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized apartment complex.
• Ability to work with multiple vendors and manage quotes and estimates effectively.
