Cheshire Medical Center - Keene, NH

Dartmouth Health - Cheshire Medical Center  is seeking a highly motivated  Physician Assistant (PA) , to join their  Orthopaedics Department  in Keene, NH. Working with the Orthopaedics team, the PA will be involved in all aspects of Orthopaedic patient care. The majority of time will be spent in the outpatient clinic with a focus on sports medicine related problems, but also substantial time will be spent in the OR assisting on surgery and performing consults, procedures, and rounding in the inpatient unit and ED. This position is ideal for a PA who is looking for a fast-paced, collegial setting with exposure to a diverse work environment. The clinic is staffed with Orthopaedic Surgeons, Physician Assistants, Athletic Trainers, and flow staff who are highly trained in the musculoskeletal system and help provide flow, history, education, and other services to help optimize the clinic and help the Orthopaedic team provide top-notch quality patient care. This is a Monday through Friday position, hours will be ~7:30-5 pm, and a weekday and weekend call component is 1:7 at full staff.

Required Licensure/Certifications
  • Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the state of New Hampshire. Academic preparation at the Master's level is required.
  • CPR Certified.
  • ACLS Certified (Can obtain within the first year of employment).
