Join Our Team as a Part-time Dental Assistant

Position Details:

• Schedule: 2 days/week from 9 am to 5 pm
• Certification: Certified Dental Assistant (DA) and CPR/BLS required

Your Role:

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. You'll have the opportunity to engage with patients, particularly children, who make up a significant portion of our practice.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Providing quality, compassionate care to all patients
• Guiding parents and patients through our processes
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
• Preparing patients for examinations and treatments
• Taking x-rays and managing patient charts
• Ensuring the hygiene bay and operatory rooms are ready for use
• Preparing tray setups for dental procedures
• Assisting dentists during treatments and surgeries
• Maintaining sterilization of instruments and working areas

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• X-ray certification preferred
• Certification as a dental assistant
• Ability to communicate effectively, with bilingual in Spanish being a plus
• Strong adherence to regulations and ethical standards
