..Then you may be the person we are looking for. This position will give you the opportunity to learn other areas outside of payroll. You must be a person that produces quality and accurate work. You must be a person with professional decorum and integrity. The successful candidate must be passionate about processing payroll with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to follow processes and procedures.

In this position, you will

1. Be responsible for processing US (multi-state) and Canada semi-monthly payroll for approximately 240 employees, adhere to tight deadlines, prepare pay data spreadsheets and import expense reimbursement and vacation files.
2. Review computed wages and correct errors, prepare various payroll reports, handle all garnishment and deductions, check figures for accuracy and provide necessary approvals.
3. Check non-exempt payroll timesheets and work closely with Human Resources on all payroll-related issues, prepare and process commission statements, monitor and recover outstanding draw balances, and review and download reports from ADP and Ceridian.
4. Verify and reconcile quarterly and annual tax reports, prepare census reporting, calculate manual checks, prepare quarterly workers compensation reports, backup to sales tax system/reports, bonus calculation, and manage unemployment compensation and rates.
