Pharmacy Technician I Compensation

• The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician I Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday – Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• • Associates will work five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Overtime may be available with prior approval
• Safety Sensitive Position
• Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Ohio

Pharmacy Technician I Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy workstations and support the team in filling patient prescriptions
• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met
• Fill patient prescriptions at various workstations, including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, cycle fill, and machine packaging
• Prepare medications by measuring, mixing, counting, and labeling according to prescription orders
• Receive product deliveries, scan medication into system, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers for delivery
• Partner with supervisor to coordinate workflow and ensure timely processing of medications
• Perform physical inventories and scan manifests into the system to confirm deliveries

Pharmacy Technician I Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Registered Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Ohio
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience
• Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a retail or mail order pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations, inventory management, and prescription processing systems
