The Physical Therapy Assistant supports licensed Physical Therapists by administering treatment programs and monitoring patients' progress under supervision. This role requires graduation from an accredited program, state licensure, and certification in BLS, with experience in rehabilitation preferred. The Physical Therapy Assistant assists in the provision of physical therapy service provided the service is rendered under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administering treatment programs designed by and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, monitoring patients' progress and response to treatment, reporting deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist.
