Job Summary: Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
We are looking for a talented
Production/Painter Technician to join our Manufacturing team in
(Henderson, CO) .
100% onsite, Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4:30 pm with the occasional need for OT on Fridays.
Will make an impact in the following ways: - Operate manual and automated machines to assemble and paint automotive engines and components in accordance with quality and productivity standards.
- Inspect surfaces, prep, mask, prime, and paint to achieve proper color, thickness, and texture.
- Maintain detailed records of daily tasks, production output, and materials used.
- Follow Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, including proper PPE, and participate in safety trainings.
- Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain equipment, identify issues, and improve processes.

Responsibilities In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: \n - 2+ years of experience as an automotive engine painter or in a relevant manufacturing role.
\n - Knowledge of painting techniques on various metals including iron, aluminum, steel, and cast.
\n - Ability to perform prep, masking, mixing, and painting independently, following quality standards.
\n - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
\n - Physically able to sit, stand, kneel, lift, and climb ladders; able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications Job responsibilities: \n - Inspect surfaces, mask, prep specific areas for painting.
\n - Monitor material inventory and cost-effectively buy painting materials (e.g., paint, primer, masking material)
\n - Mix paint to achieve the correct color and texture
\n - Prime surfaces and paint engines to desired thickness level.
\n - Follow workplace health and safety rules
\n - Load and unload tools and equipment from work areas
\n - Maintain a clean, tidy work area
\n - Work well with peers, teammates, and collaborate cross-functionally
\n - Coordinate service and handle feedback professionally
\n - Accurately clock in and out of time management system daily
\n - Manage job details, review daily tasks, and follow up with team leads and supervisors

Qualifications and skills: \n - High school diploma or GED
\n - 2+ years of experience as an automotive engine painter or relevant experience
\n - Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
\n - Knowledge of automotive painting techniques on various metals including iron, aluminum, steel, and cast
\n - Comfortable using different painting tools on various surfaces (e.g., spray equipment)
\n - Familiar with color theory principles
\n - Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and convert measurements
\n - Physically able to sit, stand, kneel, lift, and climb ladders
\n - Strong planning, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
\n - Great attention to detail, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
\n - Can work independently and as part of a team environment
\n - Can communicate
\n - Able to follow written and verbal instructions
\n - Friendly with good interpersonal skills

Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
