- *Job Title: Production Operator**
- *Job Description**
As a Production Operator, you will operate machinery, measure products, and load/unload materials. You will be working with rubber hoses across three main departments on the manufacturing floor. Heavy lifting (50-80 lbs) is required. The role involves starting in the Scrap department for 1-2 weeks, followed by 1-2 months in the Acqua Traxx department, and eventually moving to the Hose department.
**Responsibilities**
- Operate machinery and measure products using calipers and other measuring tools.
- Load and unload materials, involving heavy lifting (50-80 lbs).
- Start in the Scrap department for training (1-2 weeks), which is the most physically demanding.
- Move to the Acqua Traxx department for 1-2 months, running machinery, measuring with calipers, and occasionally using a microscope.
- Read labels and basic quality reports.
- Eventually transition to the Hose department, which is less physical and more laid back.
**Essential Skills**
- 6+ months of production experience.
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs constantly.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Capability of heavy lifting (40-80 lbs) up to 100 times a day.
- Ability to be on feet all day and stay flexible.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
- Experience in general labor and production operations.
- Experience with hand tools and tape measures.
- Previous roles in fast food or as a cook are considered.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is very warm in the summer and chilly in the winter, as it is not climate controlled. Fans are available for cooling in hot weather. The environment is noisy, and ear plugs are provided. The dress code is flexible due to the varying temperatures.
