On-Demand Group is currently seeking for an IT Project Manager for an 8-month contract engagement.

3-5 years Telephony experience moving to Teams in the organization
Nice to have:
Strongly prefer candidate to be located on east coast
Job Description:
• Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
• Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
• Monitor or track project milestones and deliverable.
• Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
• Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects.
• Submit project deliverable, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.
• Establish and execute a project communication plan.
• Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel.
Qualifications/Education:
Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in project management of systems or services.
Technology Requirements:
Data base user interface and query software Development environment software Pattern design software Project management software
Possible Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, PCSM
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the planning, execution, and delivery of the Microsoft Teams Calling project.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP or other project management certifications is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in IT or telecommunications projects.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams, including its calling features and integration capabilities.
The projected hourly range for this position is $43 to $58.
