Job Description Job Description We are looking for an energetic Property Manager manager to help run the day-to-day operations of a 300 unit residential property in in Sunnyvale Ca. You will have proven leadership skills, a high level of energy and excitement, a history of working well both independently and as a team, and superior knowledge within the residential real estate industry; Bay Area Preferred. Prior experience in property management and someone who nurtures strong relationships with tenants, Vendors and teammates. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas: Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with all property tenants, vendors, and contractors. Overall responsibility to ensure compliance with tenant leases, service contracts, regulatory items, and management contracts. Manage, track schedules, on-calls and emergencies Prepare and serve legal notices, conduct inspections of the property, and ensure enforcement of the community's rules and regulations Responsible for budgeting, variance reporting & forecasting Approve purchase orders, invoices, and rent-up schedules. Oversee the collection of rent and perform regular inspections of the properties Work with Leasing, Maintenance & Accounting to make sure the property is running smoothly Be familiar with, understand, and comply with all laws and regulations relating to the management and operation of the property. Work with the Ownership team for redevelopment and capital improvement projects Overseeing all aspects of property performance, compliance, and resident satisfaction, while leading a leasing team Requirements The successful candidate will possess the following experience, competencies, degrees, and certificates: 6-10 years of hands-on real estate/property management work experience Strong understanding of lease agreements, Renewals and leasing terms California Certified Property Manager (preferred) Living on-site ( if needed) Experience in leading and managing property teams and staff BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience is required.
