Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Entry Level Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products by checking item weights, comparing products, and placing them into the correct containers. This position requires basic math skills, the ability to work efficiently in a production environment, and effective teamwork.
salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Weight Verification: Accurately check and record the weight of items to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements.
- Product Comparison: Compare products to ensure they match quality and specification standards.
- Sorting and Placement: Place each product into the correct container based on predefined criteria and ensure proper labeling.
- Basic Math Skills: Use basic math to calculate weights, measurements, and quantities as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Identify and report any discrepancies or defects in products and containers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of product weights, comparisons, and container placements.
- Production Line Support: Assist in maintaining a smooth workflow on the production line by coordinating with team members and addressing any issues that arise.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to achieve production goals and address any operational challenges.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the work area is clean and organized, and that equipment is properly maintained.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and suggestions for improving processes and efficiency in the production environment.
