LIA is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. As our receptionist, you will play a crucial role in being the face of the company as a first point of contact for all visitors, guests and employees while working in a thriving small business with several government contract vehicles.

This opportunity will help develop a genuine learning experience that is educational and be an extension of classroom learning as defined by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. This role will be impactful by enhancing and helping to learn new office skills and knowledge. Skills will be transferable to other employment settings. Routine feedback and mentorship are provided by an experienced supervisor to support individual professional development with opportunities for reflection. Academic credit can be accepted.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and transfer phone calls & take messages for LIA Headquarter Staff.
  • Sort and deliver mail.
  • Greet visitors & main a presentable front desk environment
  • Handling confidential paperwork
  • Maintain visitor log
  • Administrative Duties, as required.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a university accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a related field.
  • Candidates living in a HUBZone are preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience & Scheduling Knowledge is Ideal.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of government contracting a plus.
