JOB OVERVIEW

The Record Scanner is responsible to ensure that completed quality records are scanned and uploaded to SharePoint online storage for retention. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Organize files and records to prepare for scanning.
• Review documents and records for errors or omissions.
• Scans documents and records of data after records are released by Quality Engineers and Technicians.
• File digital copies of scanned records.
• Physically files paper records in file cabinets after scanning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to operate a multi-function printer/ scanner
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Process and Good Documentation Practices
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Understands and follows SOP's, MPI's, Procedures, Polices and Work Instructions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Physical Activity - Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling. Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
• Physical Requirements - Standing and sitting work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Visual Acuity - The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen; extensive reading; operation of machines (including scanners and computers).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Working Conditions - The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work). The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as, gloves, frocks, hair and beard covers, face protection, foot protection, safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
