We are looking for a passionate and experienced Regional Admissions Director to join our team and oversee the admissions process at our facilities across North New Jersey. Job Description: As the Regional Admissions Director , you will lead a team of Admissions Directors and Coordinators and ensure the seamless admissions process across all skilled nursing and long-term care facilities within your region. You will be responsible for training, auditing, and optimizing the admissions process while maintaining compliance with all necessary regulations. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise and provide support to Admissions Directors and Coordinators across the region. Admissions Management: Oversee the entire admissions process, ensuring policies and procedures are consistently followed. Training & Support: Inservice and train the Admissions Team on new policies, procedures, and regulatory changes. Process Optimization: Work closely with the admissions management team to improve the admissions process across facilities. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement regulations. Network Management: Ensure adherence to Population Health protocols and manage Preferred Provider Network patients. SCA Management: Oversee the process of Single Case Agreements (SCA) from hospitals or insurance companies. Operational Coverage: Step in to cover the Admissions office when needed. Audit Systems & Documentation: Review and audit systems like censuspro, PCC/Sigma Care, and ensure proper data entry, and update Admissions Agreements and Transfer/Discharge documentation. Hiring & Interviews: Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and Business Development to interview and hire new Admissions staff. Liaison with Billing Department: Ensure that all insurance authorizations and necessary information are received for proper billing. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Director of Admissions in a skilled nursing facility. In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care regulations.
