Job Description

In exchange for interning for our company, we will train you in all the skills you need to walk into a paying position elsewhere in the entertainment industry (or maybe even here!). We are a very well established music marketing firm. Our clients over the years have included Gwen Stefani, Bush, Mike Love (Beach Boys), John Lodge (Moody Blues) as well as over 250 indie artists.

With the title of "Project Coordinators" we have trained over 100 interns; many of whom have gone on to bigger roles in the music and PR fields.

You will also get extensive hands-on experience that will benefit you in ANY career. Don't waste another second applying for errand running internships and come join us for a fun and rewarding position.
No experience is necessary. We will teach you how to do:
- Spotify Marketing
- Viral Marketing
- Viral and Traditional PR
- Building a strong audience for artists/clients through social media
- Social media for business
- Copy and Press Release Writing
- Creating and sending HTML eBlasts (No prior knowledge required)
- Google Keyword research
- Press List and Database Management
Additional Information:
- M-F 10:30am-5:30pm (PST/PDT), 2 days per week
- Minimum commitment of approximately four months (Total of 224 hours)

Requirements:
1) A sense of humor!
2) Must have common sense
3) Creativity is a plus
4) Basic computer skills (word, excel, internet)
5) Must be reliable and punctual
6) Good Writing and Communication skills

We offer a stress free learning environment with one-on-one training before you work on your own (when you are comfortable) - there's always someone on staff to help you along the way. Although this is a
NON-PAID TRAINING INTERNSHIP, you will be a vital player in the building of real bands online and will be able to apply your new skills to market and promote any type of music artist or any other type of business or product.

FYI - RE: The Future: Currently we have 1 paid / P-T position in house (Project Managers) for which we only hire from our already trained intern pool. Currently that position is filled by a previous intern. Once you've completed your internship, if that position becomes available you will be under consideration for the promotion and/or it's very likely we will add a 2nd P/T position within he year.
