Full-Time Occupational Therapist Needed for School Setting
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 37.5 hours/week
Start Date: August 2025 (for the 2025-2026 school year)
Compensation: $55-$70/hour, based on experience and skillset

Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team as a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) working in a vibrant school setting. You will have the opportunity to support a diverse range of students with unique needs across all grade levels for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Your expertise will contribute to creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate students' fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-help, and functional skills in an educational context.
• Develop tailored goals and treatment plans that align with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Deliver direct therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, handwriting, self-regulation, sensory processing, and visual-perceptual skills.
• Assist students in using adaptive equipment and modifying their environment to enhance learning access.
• Empower students to gain independence in daily tasks like dressing, toileting, feeding, and organizing their materials.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate occupational therapy strategies into classroom activities.
• Provide training and modeling on sensory strategies and modifications to support classroom dynamics.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to collaborative goal setting and regularly updating on student progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, assessments, and communications.
• Engage in district-level collaborations and multidisciplinary team meetings as required.
• Adhere to all professional standards and comply with FERPA, HIPAA, and district regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid California Occupational Therapy License.
• NBCOT certification is essential.
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation:

• $55-$70/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• Full-time schedule in sync with the academic calendar (approximately 37.5 hours/week).
