Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in New Orleans, LA, serving K-12 students in a contract role through the current school year. This opportunity is primarily focused on supporting elementary schools on the west bank, with a caseload that includes children from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role requires working onsite Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, aligned with the school calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students demonstrating communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Louisiana.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-age children, particularly in elementary settings.
