For more information about Draper, visit Job Description Summary The Senior Capture & Proposal Graphic Designer is a new position reporting to the Vice President of Business Winning. In support of Draper’s growth strategy, we are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented graphic design professional to support Draper’s capture and proposal operations. You will be responsible for translating concepts and data into compelling ideas and experiences, leading projects from start to finish, and working independently with cross-functional teams across the organization. This role is essential for developing and submitting winning proposals for Federal government and commercial customers. The Successful Candidate Must understand conceptual design, space layout, color theory, and typography with a keen eye for details. Ability to work well under pressure with a strategic and analytical mindset. Experience in conceptual rendering, illustration, and art production. Ability to interpret sketches from engineers and technical experts into compelling illustrations. Deadline-driven with a commitment to elevating the company brand. Highly skilled in software and storytelling, incorporating industry trends into designs and sharing knowledge with others. Additionally, strong project management, leadership, and communication skills are essential, along with a passion for supporting technology development in national security. You will work with exceptional teams across various fields. Duties/Responsibilities Brainstorm and ideate design solutions, translating complex facts into graphics that convey intended meaning. Design and layout marketing and proposal documents, ensuring consistency and compliance with branding guidelines. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and subject matter experts to develop graphics aligned with project themes. Review graphic materials for accuracy, clarity, and standards compliance. Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, maintaining high-quality standards. Lead graphic design efforts on proposals, ensuring timely delivery and quality control. Create and maintain a library of reusable graphics and visual assets. Skills/Abilities Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft 365 Suite. Creative, marketing-savvy, and innovative with strong understanding of design principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Creative portfolio demonstrating graphic design expertise. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work independently or collaboratively. Education Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or related field preferred. Experience Minimum 6 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio, preferably in federal or commercial proposals. Additional Requirements Applicants must obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Active Final Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
