Common Forge is hiring a full stack engineer to help lead and grow its software platform.

About Common Forge

Common Forge is developing a clean energy transaction collaboration platform based on its deep experience in bespoke, document-heavy transactions processes. We're focused on simplifying collaboration, clarifying document insights, and reducing overhead at clean energy developers and their third parties through a combination LLMs, UX, and product expertise about how to help teams get at the information they need.

Common Forge founded in 2023 as a tax credit transfer platform focused on making the document-heavy tax credit transfer process simpler and this new software platform is a distinct product from our transfer marketplace services.

Our Tech

We've built a platform to simplify clean energy transactions, focused on:

• Cross-organization collaboration
• Document management
• Task Management
• AI-Powered document insights

The ideal candidate will have a view of scaling our platform as a dedicated SaaS offering, with a focus on utilizing LLMs to assist in document review and clean up.

You'll work alongside seasoned product management leads with support from full stack engineering and UX.

Your Experience:

• Engineering Leadership : You've hired engineers to grow an engineering function and can take a strong view on how to scale a team
• Hands On Engineering : You've been a full stack engineer and are excited to spend time in that role for a period
• Software Architecture:  You've built cloud and on-prem systems before and have a view on how to make document-heavy multi-user systems reliable and performant.
• Document-Centric AI : We are aiming to simplify document management at small through large organizations, and the ideal candidate will have spent time configuring and optimizing LLMs for organizations.

• Balancing engineering with product, sales, and UX to create a product that delights customers and leads industry
