Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Team Leader

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Interact with crew members and customers using our unique \Tropitude\ to create a positive and fun atmosphere.
• Deliver unparalleled hospitality to each customer, ensuring they have an amazing experience.
• Be knowledgeable and proficient in each position within the cafe.
• Successfully complete the Café Basics Training Program and Certified Trainer Program.
• Ensure each station is operating to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards.
• Train and coach crew members during each shift to uphold brand standards.
• Utilize tools to accomplish goals, manage labor, and control inventory.
• Perform any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe smoothly.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Continuous standing and walking throughout each shift.
• Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds for stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Most shifts are eight hours, but this may vary.
• Expect some early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and/or holiday hours, with additional opening/closing responsibilities.
• Lead crew members by demonstrating Tropical Smoothie Cafe's core values in all interactions.
• Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Employee Handbook, uniform, and personal hygiene policies for each shift.
