We are hiring for an Entry-Level Dock Worker to help out the Specimen Processing team! This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door in a medical laboratory environment with a lot of growth potential long-term! This is an entry-level role (no degree required) in a climate controlled environment and will primarily focus on helping unload trucks and bring in boxes of medical laboratory specimens to the different processing areas. You may also help out with doing some processing work as well. All specimens will be sealed and most will be in the boxes when you are handling them. An ideal candidate will have consistent work experience and at least some experience in a fast paced environment. These are all full-time positions plus overtime as needed. Pay: $18/hour (set starting rate, will be evaluated for raises over time) Shift: 3rd Shift, 9pm - 5:30am, Monday - Friday plus overtime Job Duties Receive and unload incoming specimens from the dock areas. Deliver boxes of specimens to the different processing areas/laboratories on site Sort specimens out and take them to the appropriate processing departments (all are on the 1st floor and there are carts to help move things) May help with some basic processing/Accessioning duties such as scanning samples/specimens into the system and verifying labels are accurate. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications: Must have work experience, but can be from a variety of industries. Must have a completed High School Diploma or GED Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
