Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role. Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values. This position will help develop a new systems research facility on the Wooster campus for the purposes of education, research, and extension. The samples collected will establish baseline data for future comparative research and will provide key insights in the design and placement of various research activities with consideration to soil health, hydrology, existing ecosystem services or natural features, and operational assets such as fencing and water supplies. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
