Summer Golf Course Intern
Country Club in Rochester, New York is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
Interns will have the opportunity to participate in a capital project as we will start renovating our practice facility in the beginning of September. Interns will have exposure to the construction of USGA spec greens along with the grow-in process. This unique experience will also expose interns to chemical applications, and cultural practices preparing both courses for the winter season that summer internships will not provide. Interns who are willing to learn and dedicate their time to our program will gain the skills and knowledge of turf management at the highest level.
Requirements:
Graduated or currently enrolled in a 2 to 4- year degree, certificate program in turf management, or related field at an accredited university.
Prefer at least 1 year of golf course maintenance experience, however not necessary.
Compensation:
$18 – $20 per hour.
Off property housing will be provided with Wi-Fi.
