Job Description

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Surgery Scheduler . Experience in Otolaryngology preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Pay: $21-27 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 hours shift

DUTIES:

• Schedule surgical procedures for ENT providers across multiple surgical facilities.
• Review provider orders and verify all required documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate surgery dates, instructions, pre-op requirements, and follow-up plans to patients.
• Coordinate pre-operative testing and referrals as needed.
• Obtain and track insurance authorizations and verify patient coverage.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and update the EHR system.
• Serve as liaison between patients, providers, hospitals, and anesthesiology teams.
• Answer patient questions regarding preparation and recovery expectations.
• Ensure all surgical paperwork is complete and submitted within required timelines.
• Handle schedule changes, cancellations, and reschedules promptly and professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Previous surgery scheduling experience, required
• Experience in Otolaryngology, preferred
• Bilingual, required
