Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Review financial records to determine tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
  • Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize deductions.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting clients’ tax situations.
  • Provide excellent client service by answering queries and addressing concerns promptly.

Requirements

  • A valid CPA license or EA certification is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and consultation.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to clients.
